"You Were Always There" Psychological Thriller Short FilmYou Were Always There follows a young man who can't get to work because he is stalked by a black SUV. Really, it's about the young man's relationship with his parents and God. Its presence disturbs him to the point of locking himself in a large home in the country. His plan falls through when the SUV driver, still unseen, enters his home and tries to break into his bathroom. That night he is also spiritually visited by a God-like presence that brings him to a scene at a church and tells him to flee the country home. The following day he leaves and has a Dantenian adventure through the wood, that takes him to the memory of his father who leads him to an abandoned castle where he finds a room resembling his bedroom. He is then touched or guided by a God-like presence or the absurd.
